After completing intake and consent paperwork, an initial appointment will be booked to discuss your child’s strengths, main concerns, and support needs.
A second session is typically used for goal planning, where the therapist works collaboratively with you to identify meaningful goals and discuss areas to support. Formal or informal assessments may also be recommended if the therapist feels they would be beneficial.
Ongoing therapy sessions are then tailored based on the goals identified and your child’s individual needs, using engaging, child-centred, and play-based approaches.
