Hi, I’m Roopa.

Roopa is a provisional psychologist passionate about helping children, adolescents, and their families better understand their challenges and capabilities and working with them to develop strategies that best suit their needs.

​Roopa has experience working across a variety of presentations, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, Intellectual Disability, anxiety, and depression. Roopa likes collaborating with parents, teachers, and other service providers to ensure the best possible outcome for the child. Her treatment style utilises evidence-based techniques drawn from Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy and Creative Therapy. ​

Roopa is passionate about providing a caring, supportive, non-judgemental and trusting therapeutic relationship, which can facilitate positive change.
