Anita is an enthusiastic and dedicated therapist who joined the team at Gumboots Child Therapy in January 2025. After graduating with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) from Monash University in 2024, Anita discovered her passion for working with children during her 4th-year placement with us. This experience ignited her desire to make a positive impact on the lives of children and their families.

At Gumboots, Anita is focused on empowering children’s development through play and fostering strong, supportive relationships with both children and their families. She is committed to expanding her expertise, with a particular interest in sensory processing and emotional regulation. Driven by a passion for professional growth, Anita’s dedication to learning and her compassionate approach make her an exceptional addition to our team.

Anita is committed to continuous learning and professional growth, ensuring she is equipped with the latest tools and knowledge to best support her clients. She is currently enrolled in Gerda Muller's Time Management course, enhancing her ability to manage her workload effectively while providing the highest quality care. In addition, Anita is completing her mandatory reporting and hand washing certifications, reflecting her dedication to maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism in her practice. Her proactive approach to ongoing education ensures she remains a highly skilled and compassionate therapist for the families she serves.
