Hi, I’m Emma.

Emma is an incredibly valuable and skilled Occupational Therapist whose dedication to continuous learning and growth sets her apart in her field. She completed her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy in 2017 at Australian Catholic University, Melbourne, and since then has shown an unwavering commitment to enhancing her therapeutic practice through evidence-based techniques and a deep passion for her work.

Emma’s journey began with working with the adult population, but it was when she transitioned to working with children that she truly discovered her passion. Her curiosity and commitment to professional development drive her to concentrate on areas such as sensory and emotional regulation, ensuring that she is always evolving and refining her skills to provide the highest level of care to her clients.

Emma’s diverse experience also includes completing Kim Barthel’s “Behavioural Detective” training, where she gained advanced knowledge in understanding and interpreting behaviour to develop effective interventions. This training enhances her ability to tailor her approach to the unique needs of each child, ensuring that her interventions are thoughtful and impactful.

Most recently, Emma has completed an Occupational Performance Coaching (OPC) course, an evidence-based intervention that enables her to work closely with both clients and their caregivers to achieve meaningful, sustainable goals. This collaborative approach allows Emma to empower families, fostering independence and building a supportive environment for both children and their families. Her use of OPC ensures that she addresses the full scope of a child’s needs, promoting long-term success through client-centered strategies.

Emma’s training, combined with her passion for learning and dedication to helping children thrive, makes her an indispensable asset to our team. Her holistic, evidence-based approach to therapy ensures that every child she works with receives the highest standard of care, while her collaborative mindset strengthens the support systems around them, making her an invaluable member of our practice.
